We typically use sources on the internet to plan our trips, both planned and spontaneous. There are an incredible amount of apps available that can assist with locating hotels, restaurants, markets, and fun events. Below are some of our favorites, and more can be seen in our blog.
Luggage Forward – Door-to-door luggage shipping is the convenient, affordable alternative to carrying and checking bags!
Yelp – We have been using this App for quite some time now and continue to be very impress with the results of our search from restaurants to hotels. The team at Yelp are also seem to be quite pro-active in listening to their users.
EatWith – Connecting “foodies” with various hosts throughout the various parts of the world.
With Locals – Find the ultimate local tours, activities or home diner with a local in Asia and Europe.
Plate Culture – Similar to EatWith but concentrated in SE Asia.

This website contains tips for traveling abroad, passport and visa applications and document requirements. You can also obtain worldwide travel announcements and advisories. A great resource.
This site gives the Center for Disease Control’s recommended health precautions and warnings for travelers.
